Making Lemonade
When a pipe burst during a cold spell in Colorado Springs, it left a mess in this home on the first floor and basement. So when life hands you lemons, you renovate! A new kitchen layout was a must for functionality and storage was just the beginning for this family.
Elm Ave
The pleasure of working on a design and furnishings plan for a magnificent home built in 1927 by Thomas MacLaren was a dream. We thoughtfully selected pieces from wallpaper to rugs, that would allow the history and architecture to continue to have a timeless elegance.
Oak Hills
A major renovation to update the client’s home included relocating a central Powder Room, adding a structural beam, moving walls to add a butler’s pantry and a complete overhaul of the kitchen and primary bathroom.
Mountain Retreat
A home away from home in a weekend mountain retreat. We created a design to elevate this plain new-build condo in Keystone, Colorado that nodded Scandinavian and boho, with mountain modern vibes. To achieve this we packed in natural materials, pattern and textures everywhere from the drapery panels to the rugs. Each element plays a different role in balancing the design and making you want to just sit, relax, and look around. We added fluted wall panels in the dining space and above the mantle creating depth. Heavy textured wallcovering behind the primary bed brings in another natural element.
Black Forest
When a wonderful couple called us to bring some personality and pattern to their current neutral home, we delivered. Our team designed custom arched iron bookcases to flank the fireplace adding display opportunities and height. New lighting, custom window treatments and ceiling wallpaper to the dining create a special space in the open floor plan. Pops of color in the laundry and mudroom from the new roman shades, art and bench cushions make these working areas more fun to be in.
Newgate
A fresh coat of paint does wonders to a home with good bones! The kitchen was in need up a facelift so we painted the existing cabinetry and added new hardware. Quartz countertops, shimmery backsplash, and floating shelves also helped to brightened up the dated style. We added architectural details on the walls of the two-story entry and the ceiling of the sitting room to elevate the style and character of the home. New furnishings and textures bring in the client’s fun personality.
Woodstone
A newly renovated family home that once housed a past trend farmhouse style is now a contemporary and fresh interior. We created the design to bring in a modern and fun vibe will keeping family friendly finishes in mind for this young family of 4 and 2 dogs. We created depth to new white walls by adding squared trim-work further expressing a modern space. Venetian plaster finishes the minimal fireplace surround and anchors the family room while showcasing the family treasures in the custom walnut shelved built-in for extra storage.
JK Lounge - living room and office update
My clients were ready to make their empty living room into a space for adult relaxing and entertaining friends and family. I designed a custom dry bar with herringbone details, brass mesh cabinet inserts, and floating shelves with undermount LED lighting. Their fun eclectic taste in art added pops of color and interest. The home office also got a facelift too with modern colorful wallpaper, a striped rug, roman shades, and new storage units.
Fort Hunt Home
This sweet Army family wanted to update their home furnishings to better match their personalities! Their family includes two young kids, which called for a furniture layout that would welcome family time and upholstery that is covered in performance fabric that can stand up to the test of child’s play. As a refuge for the busy parents, we turned the master bedroom and master lounge into a personalized, calming space where they could retreat and unwind.

My clients called on me to help with the interior design of their full home renovation. Keeping in mind their 2 young kids and family dog, we used family friendly performance fabrics throughout. Also incorporating interesting textiles and textures to create a welcoming and comfortable environment they are proud to call home.

Annandale - Renovation

From the graphic tiles in the kitchen to the deep navy blue paint in the living room that highlights their vibrant art and decor, we added lively patterns and bold colors into this design to match this couple’s personality and make this space feel like their own.
Indiana Kitchen - Virtual Design
This amazing Army family bought a new home and were ready to upgrade their dated kitchen. We designed a beautiful new concept for them using 3D rendering tools, which enabled them to communicate the design plan easier with their local contractors and tradespeople.
Burke
This Air Force family finally is able to lay down some roots for a while and I helped them create a home they can relax and enjoy while raising their 3 kids. We used a bold paint for contrast and create a casual but elevated style in the living room and dining room. Light and bright scheme in the kitchen, and family room. Also, a new custom designed mudroom storage unit to keep this busy family organized.
Bungalow
Small space living can feel much larger with accurate proportions and interesting finishes. With a full renovation to open up a old closed floor plan, we filled this small bungalow home with soothing blues, interesting textures and mixed metals. My clients brought in their love for cooking and French influences by selecting a beautiful copper hood and accents.
Accent Wall Makeover - Virtual Design
Winner of our Entryway Giveaway Contest, this homeowner wanted to make an impact in her entry, which also serves as the family room. Our proposed design paint the accent wall in a deep blue and layered her collection of glass votives against that rich color. We selected 3 white wall sconces to add above her indigo textile art collection to highlight the glass. To complete the design we added a caramel leather bench. Once an outdated and closed floor plan, now a beautiful open kitchen-dining-living room space for this young Air Force Family to enjoy. Crisp and clean design concept with a custom built-in wall of shelving creates storage and a place to display family photos and collected treasures.
Boulder Sunroom
My clients were ready to transform their outdated sunroom into an oasis with romatic Parisian bistro influences. We acheived this by adding copper tin ceiling panels, bistro lights, and incorporating interesting patterns and textures. Outdoor performance fabrics were also used to battle the harsh Colorado weather.
Vienna
Newly retired Army family wanted to amp up their home with style and color. We showcased many of their treasures they have collected over the past 20 years of military moves, which created a swoon worthy space ready to entertain guests of all ages.
Williamsburg Kitchen - Virtual Design
When my fun repeat clients were ready to tackle a kitchen renovation they called on me to create a virtual design for them. I removed their dated peninsula and created a large island that better enhanced the traffic flow to the eat-in dining. Also, greatly increasing their storage with a wall of cabinetry for a coffee station and pantry.
Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling
When my clients moved from Hawaii to Washington DC they were ready to ditch their old furnishings and come home to space they could be proud of. We worked within the on-base beige walls and carpeting to create a comfy and casual family room, tastefully decorated dining space, and welcoming foyer. We created two gallery walls that tell their story and truly make them feel at home.
